Autocad Drafting — Grey Gritzmacher, B.S. Environmental Sciences
Grey performs drafting using Autodesk
software. He has experience in Civil 3D (2007-2009), Land Desktop Design
(2002 & 2007), and AutoCAD (2002-2009). He works closely with
Engineers and Surveyors to draft extensive water, waste water, storm
water, road improvement, and commercial and private development plans
for many large and small scale projects. He can perform drafting for landscaping,
site grading, erosion control, and detention pond system projects. Grey
is available to draft complete, detailed, and accurate working
development plans, construction documents, utility plans, grading
plans, charts, ALTA surveys, topographic mapping, environmental permitting, and subdivision
platting. |

Residential Landscape Design & Commercial Site Beautification — Naomi Swed, A.A.S. Horticulture Technology
Naomi has been producing beautiful and practical landscape designs
since 1983. She has extensive experience with both hardscaping and
planting design. Clients enjoy working with Naomi because she excels at
really understanding what they want and at turning it into a completed
design that they love. She can take your project from inspiration to
completion, performing all tasks from client interview through
supervision of installation. 2007 Gold Award Winner for Landscape
Design, Tidewater Builder’s Association Homearama.

Commercial & Residential Landscape Design & Project Management — Robin Williams, V.S.L.D.
Robin’s extensive landscape projects can be seen all over Hampton
Roads where she has been practicing since 1998. She designs and bids
large scale projects and gets them into the ground: accurately,
affordably, and on time. A prolific and talented designer, Robin works
in AutoCAD. She is certified with The Virginia Society of Landscape Designers, is a Virginia Certified Horticulturist, and has obtained Project Management Certification from VPI. |

Landscape Architecture, Planning, & Urban Design — Carol Rizzio C.L.A., A.I.C.P. & Bill Spivey, R.L.A., A.P.A.
Carol and Bill are Landscape Architects and are principals in Land Studio PC.
They collaborate with Kathleen Zeren Landscape Design on large scale
master-planning projects for municipalities and private clients. They
provide expertise in the realms of community planning, greenway,
open-space, and park design, site, grading, and parking lot design, and
design guidelines. Their excellent work has been recognized with
numerous awards. |

Project Installation Contractor — R. W. Askew Nursery
Robert Askew of Askew Nursery has been performing commercial and
municipal landscape installation for Kathleen Zeren Landscape Design
for over 12 years. The nursery been in business since 1948 and, with a
history of wholesale nursery production, they know plants! Large,
small, and VDOT projects are no problem for Robert to get in on time
and competitively priced. 2008 Critic’s Choice Gold Award Winner, Tidewater Builder’s Association Homearama. |

Project Installation Contractor — Greater Scapes
The owner of Greater Scapes,
Ben Fotusky, is a Horticulture graduate from Haywood Tech, where he
excelled in Plant Studies and Landscape Development. Greater Scapes has
grown rapidly over the years with commercial contracts, such, as Deltec
Homes, Riverwood Construction, LTK Enterprises, and two YMCA’s. They
also perform residential work, both large and small, with pride. Ben
will work with you on your project from design to installation. He
specializes in water features and gardens, patios, retaining walls, and
turf installation. He also does landscape maintenance work such as
mowing, pruning shrubs, re-mulching, aerating, overseeding, and
fertilization. |

This team member has a B.S. in Biology with a concentration in
Ornamental Horticulture (1984) and has eighteen (18) years of
experience as a City Planner/Urban Designer. He is proficient in:
Identification of native and ornamental plant species, comprehensive
site analysis including environmental site assessment, residential and
commercial landscape design, landscape
construction and planting methods and practices, writing, interpreting,
and applying building and land development codes and ordinances, and
shepherding residential and commercial development project through the
permitting process. He is a highly valued member of our team! |

Tree Assessment, Wetland & Bioretention Planting Design, Commercial Landscape Renovations
Our certified Arborist can identify your trees and evaluate their
condition and the feasibility of retention. A graduate
horticulturist, she and has 21 years’ experience in the landscape field.
She has helped to write and enforce municipal landscape ordinances and
is also an excellent landscape designer with a special interest in native plants. |
